5 of London’s Best Beer Gardens
There’s nothing more British than sipping on a cold pint while basking in the glorious sunshine in London’s hottest beer gardens. From traditional Victorian boozers to beautiful woodland gardens and craft beers to jugs of Pimm’s, soak up the sun this summertime in our top five spots!
1. The Prince
The Prince is one of London's largest beer gardens nestled along Earl's Court. Featuring three bars, four restaurants and a gorgeous, woodland garden, The Prince is absolute royalty. Tuck into pizza, sushi, or burgers (and plenty of alcohol, of course) surrounded by bright flowers, bold neon signs, and a clear retractable roof - come rain or shine.
Location: 14 Lillie Rd, London SW6 1TT
2. The Magic Garden
Often described as a “festival in a pub”, The Magic Garden is a candle-lit 'Alice in Wonderland'-esque oasis crammed with low sofas, blankets, and coffee tables. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and chill out in their twinkling beer garden with a cocktail in hand.
Location: 231 Battersea Park Rd, London SW11 4LG
3. Barrio
Party the day away at Barrio! Featuring bottomless brunches, DJ's, Latin-American street food, and plenty of delectable cocktails, this bright and colourful venue has it all. Bask in the sunshine at their Tropical Yard beer garden, with plenty of events each week.
Location: 141-143 Shoreditch High St, London E1 6JE
4. The Albion
The Albion is one of North London's most instagrammable beer gardens, with beautiful, hanging florals and wooden outdoor seating. Pop by for a delicious Sunday roast or sip on their selection of lagers, beers, real ales, and ciders.
Location: 10 Thornhill Rd, London N1 1HW
5. The Aeronaut
The drinking sure doesn't stop once the sun goes down at West London's circus-themed beer gardens. Visit the Festival Garden; with a large fire pit, BBQ, and benches all around, or the Fairground Garden; with seating inside colourful booths called hook-a-duck, coconut shy, and strong man. Or pop by for some bottomless brunch, drag bingo, cabaret shows, and more.
Location: 264 High St, London W3 9BH
