London Cocktail Week: Top 5 Events at the Annual Drinks Festival
If the clinking of glasses is music to your ears, then you’ll be over the moon about the return of London Cocktail Week. With more delicious pours than ever before, you can expect a variety of amazing events throughout the festival, be it bottomless brunches that’ll have you asking for more or cocktail tastings with a non-alcoholic twist. If the drinks are calling out your name, remember to grab your festival wristband for £15 (which also gives you access to £8 cocktails at a variety of bars) and book one of their amazing events. We’ve listed five of our personal recommendations here, but you can find even more tastings, brunches, parties, and more on the Bindy Street app.
1. Party Away at the Beefeater Distillery
Since they’re serious about spirits, the Beefeater Distillery is the perfect venue for London Cocktail Week’s launch party. Not only are they home to the world’s most awarded gin, but they’re also used to entertaining guests due to the number of lively distillery tours they hold weekly. At this party, you’ll kick start your evening with a sensational welcome cocktail before proceeding with a gin tasting session where you’ll try three delicious glasses. Once that’s finished, it’s time to drop by Mama Funki for the afterparty with a live DJ (and if you need more tipples, you’ll have a discounted Beefeater cocktail menu at your disposal).

2. Opt For Non-Alcoholic Options at Club Soda’s Bitters Tasting
London Cocktail Week isn’t just for the drinkers! There are plenty of sober options too, as demonstrated by this drinks tasting session with a twist. Swing by Club Soda, London’s bar dedicated to low-alcohol or alcohol free tipples, to tempt your tastebuds with Aromatic, Orange, New Orleans, and Lavender bitters. These drinks are courtesy of All The Bitters, a brand dedicated to the mindful drinking scene. After tasting their incredible cocktails, it’s time to learn how to shake up your perfect serve at home so you can impress friends and family with your newfound skills.

3. Hop Onto a Bus For An Irish Coffee and Whiskey Tour
In the mood for some cultural treats? Watch out for Slane Irish Whiskey this London Cocktail Week who’ll be holding a unique bus tour. Bringing your attention to the most tempting coffees and whiskey cocktails scattered around East London, you’ll be hopping on and off a red bus as you discover the tastiest drinks with a good old Irish kick. Since the caffeine will keep you buzzing for hours, be sure to take some breaks by nibbling on the light snacks provided and dance off all of your energy at your final destination, The Cocktail Trading Co in Bethnal Green.

4. Sip on Tipples At Patrón Tequila x Cavita Bottomless Brunch

One of London Cocktail Week’s most unique events, the Discarded Disco will have you partying in the name of sustainability. We’re talking complimentary zero-waste cocktails, dances under disco balls made out of reused glass, and a sustainable fashion competition where you’ll create an interesting ensemble out of all kinds of materials - and if you’re victorious, you’ll take home a pair of limited-edition Discarded x Helen Kirkum trainers. If sustainability is something you’re passionate about, then be sure to mingle at this one-of-a-kind party.
