1. Horizon 22
London is hardly short of massive skyscrapers and continent-leading rooftop bars - and it’s welcomed a record-breaking addition to the team. Horizon 22 is Europe’s highest free public gallery, standing at a whopping 254 metres above ground ensuring it’s not one for the faint hearted. Expect a view of London like never before, with panoramic views stretching from the Walkie Talkie and Gherkin to Tower Bridge and the Shard. Friendly reminder that tickets are now available, so form an orderly virtual queue ladies and gents.

2. London Film Festival
With a spectacular programme featuring some of the world's best films, this year's BFI Film Festival is not to be missed - especially if you're an avid fan of the big screen. Take a peek through their packed schedule and you'll come across the likes of Alexander Payne’s ‘The Holdovers’, Andrew Haigh’s ‘All of Us Strangers’ (starring Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott), and Yorgos Lanthimos’s ‘Poor Things’ - all of which are being shown in the UK for the first time ever. Excitingly, the festival will also host a series of in-depth interviews at Screen Talks, and a range of free events including DJ nights and family friendly activities, too. Book before it ends on October 15 for the chance to take a first look and channel your inner film critic.

3. Paint in the Dark
Staying firmly put in London, Paint in the Dark’s arty workshop-with-a-twist is all you need to fuel your creativity. With help from a professional artist, you'll spend the evening using classic and fluorescent paint to create your own masterpiece whilst sipping on two tipples (beer, wine, or a soft drink) and a wonderful musical atmosphere to enjoy with pals. Then there’s the added bonus of displaying your finished piece at home - whether proudly as an entrance piece, or unproudly in the bathroom. What’s not to love?

4. Trejo's Tacos, Notting Hill
From Hollywood all the way to London, actor Danny Trejo is ready to share his delicious taco creations with the city foodies. Settling on a Notting Hill spot, there'll be room for a hundred diners inside the dining room and on the outdoor terrace. As for the main event, expect to see highlights from the American menu including steak asada tacos, shrimp tostadas, and the Frozen OG Margarita. The grand opening is on 23 December, and we’re drooling already.
